GENERAL STUDIO POLICIES

– [ ] Registrations are open for participants aged 5 years and above only.

– [ ] Please be considerate of our facilities and students. We kindly ask that you remove all boots and shoes in the porch before entering our premises. This small gesture helps us maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone. Walking in dressing rooms and studio floors with outdoor shoes can leave dirt and debris, which can be hazardous and inconvenient for our students and staff. By keeping our floors clean, we ensure a pleasant experience for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!

-[ ] Any registered participant missing classes for more than a month, without prior information, will be automatically deregistered from the studio and a new registration fee will be applicable in order to participate. Exceptions apply such as health conditions and other critical matters but are at the discretion of the studio. It is essential for participants to understand the importance of consistent attendance in order to maximize the benefits of their studio experience. Regular attendance not only allows individuals to progress in their practice but also ensures a harmonious and cohesive group dynamic within the studio. In the event that a registered participant is unable to attend classes for an extended period of time, it is imperative that they inform the studio in advance. This will allow the studio to make suitable arrangements and provide necessary support if needed.

However, if a participant fails to provide prior information and is absent for more than a month, the studio reserves the right to deregister them from their program. Deregistration may necessitate the payment of a new registration fee in order to participate again. We understand that unforeseen circumstances and health conditions can arise, leading to unavoidable absences. In such cases, the studio will consider exceptions to the standard policy, but any decisions will be made at the sole discretion of the studio management. The studio values the well-being and happiness of its participants and will handle such matters with empathy and fairness. Please make sure to communicate any absences or changes in availability promptly to avoid any inconvenience. Remember, your commitment to attending classes not only benefits you but also contributes to a vibrant and thriving studio community.

– [ ] Kids will be moved to level 2 or level 3 in our program based on a comprehensive evaluation process that takes into account various factors. This process considers the progress and efforts made by the child, as well as the observations and assessments made by our experienced instructors. It is important to note that these decisions are not made based on informal requests from parents or caregivers. We understand that every parent wants the best for their child and may have specific preferences or expectations regarding their child’s level placement. However, our program is designed to ensure that each child is placed in the appropriate level that aligns with their individual abilities and developmental needs.

By following this evaluation process, we can provide the most effective and engaging learning experience for each child, helping them to thrive and reach their full potential. So, we kindly request that you refrain from making informal requests for level changes, as it may disrupt the carefully planned progression of our program. At the same time, we encourage open communication with our instructors and staff. If you have any concerns or questions regarding your child’s progress or level placement, please feel free to discuss it with us. We are here to support you and your child throughout their learning journey.

– [ ] In order to maintain the integrity and exclusivity of our dance academy, it is important to emphasize that registrations will be considered invalid if registered participants engage in any dance performances or activities with another dance academy, regardless of the duration or nature of such involvement. We firmly believe that our dance academy offers a unique and comprehensive learning experience, tailored to the individual needs and aspirations of our students. By adhering to this policy, we ensure that our students receive undivided attention and guidance from our dedicated team of instructors, enabling them to make consistent progress on their dance journey. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in upholding this policy, as it ultimately fosters a positive and focused learning environment for all our participants. Should you have any further questions or concerns regarding this policy, please do not hesitate to reach out to our administration team.

– [ ] We are committed to train your kids at highest level and once they are trained, will be given opportunities to showcase their skills at various competitions. Attendance is must in order to be a part of the Bhangra Crew Performance team.

– [ ] Reporting time of registered participants is 10 minutes prior to the starting of the class. It is essential for all participants to arrive on time to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted learning experience. Arriving early allows participants to settle in, prepare any necessary materials, and mentally prepare for the class ahead.

-[ ] Late entries may disrupt the flow of the class and cause inconvenience to other registered participants. Therefore, it is at the instructor’s discretion whether to allow latecomers to join the session. In some cases, late entry may be declined if it is deemed to cause disturbance to the class. This policy is in place to maintain a respectful and focused learning environment for all involved.

– [ ] Registered Participants are kindly requested to bring their own refillable water bottles to the event. In efforts to promote sustainability and reduce waste, we encourage attendees to forego single-use plastic bottles. Additionally, participants may consider bringing other refreshments or snacks that they may require throughout the event. The venue does provide a water fountain for convenient refills, ensuring everyone stays hydrated without adding to our environmental impact. Together, let’s make small choices that make a big difference.

– [ ] At Our Studio, we understand that life is unpredictable and sometimes, unforeseen events can disrupt your plans. That’s why we offer a flexible registration policy. If you have a family vacation planned or are aware of any upcoming events that may lead to missing classes, simply provide us with a two-week prior notice and we won’t charge you for the missed sessions. We believe in creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive, regardless of their circumstances.

– [ ] As responsible caretakers, we kindly request all parents to notify the studio or inform the concerned teacher in advance about any anticipated absences their child may have from class. This will not only help us ensure the smooth functioning of the studio but also allow us to make any necessary adjustments to the lesson plans or activities scheduled for that day.

* Cell phone usage is strictly prohibited during class time. The use of video recording equipment during class time is by permission only.

* Children who are not participating in dance lessons may not be left unsupervised at the studio.

* Parents and friends/family of registered participants are welcome to watch the dance lessons but are kindly asked to do so through the observation windows – only registered participants/dancers are allowed in the studio dance areas.

FEES

– [ ] A one-time yearly registration fee is applicable from 15th August 2023 onwards. This fee will contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our services, ensuring a seamless experience for all users. By implementing this fee, we aim to enhance the overall quality and support of our platform, allowing us to better serve your needs. We understand that this may raise questions or concerns, but please rest assured that this investment will be directly reflected in the continuous development and innovation of our offerings. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we strive to provide you with the best possible user experience.

– [ ] Monthly Class Fee is to be paid within the first week of every month. A timely payment ensures smooth administration and allows us to continue offering high-quality classes and services. We kindly remind all students and parents to make the payment promptly to avoid any inconvenience. Late fee charges may apply for payments made after the specified due date. We understand that circumstances may arise that prevent prompt payment. In such cases, we encourage open communication and request that you inform us in advance if you anticipate a delay in payment. Our priority is to support you and find a suitable solution that works for both parties.

DRESS CODE

– [ ] Dress code – Crew T-shirts are to be purchased before joining Bhangra Crew Academy and must be worn while at the premises/during dance lessons. The T-shirts are a symbol of unity and identity within the academy, fostering a sense of belonging among the members. Made from high-quality fabric, the crew T-shirts are not only comfortable but also showcase the vibrant style and energy of the Bhangra dance form. With their bold colors and eye-catching designs, these shirts not only make you feel part of the team, but they also make a statement wherever you go. Whether you’re practicing your dance routines, attending workshops, or participating in performances, wearing the crew T-shirt is a way to express your dedication and passion for Bhangra. Let the Bhangra spirit live on through your attire!

– [ ] Anyone failing to wear crew uniform during the classes will be subject to penalty. It is of utmost importance to maintain a professional and unified appearance when attending our classes. As a member of our crew, it is mandatory to adhere to the dress code by wearing the designated uniform. This not only promotes team spirit but also represents our commitment to excellence. The crew uniform is carefully designed to reflect our brand identity and create a positive and consistent impression among our students. By donning the uniform, you not only embody our mission and values but also contribute to a cohesive and welcoming learning environment. To ensure compliance with this policy, penalties will be imposed on individuals who fail to wear the designated crew uniform during classes.

CANCELLED CLASS POLICY

* If classes are cancelled due to instructor illness or performance obligations, the classes missed will be rescheduled at a suitable time at no additional charge to the registered participants.

* If classes are cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e., inclement weather, power outages, etc.) the classes will not be rescheduled. Registered participants may request a make-up class. Such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and will be accommodated at the best possible level.
